With a turnover of 19 billion euros and over 77,000 employees (as of 2024), Strabag SE is one of the leading European construction companies. As such, it must face the challenges of the sustainable construction transition.
Together, we have conceived, designed, and supported the technical implementation of a fair application that allows visitors to calculate the CO2 footprint of a construction project and thereby experience the sustainability competence of STRABAG and its expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) in an engaging way.
Challenge of the construction turnaround
The construction industry is currently responsible for around 38% of global greenhouse gas emissions. In order to reduce this share in the future, developers must know and optimise the entire life cycle emissions of a construction project during the planning stage.
STRABAG relies, among other things, on Building Information Modeling (BIM) to take a holistic view of greenhouse gas emissions of a construction project.
The STRABAG brand in a digital application
We have enhanced the existing STRABAG brand with digital elements: in addition to new colour variants and typographic elements, illustrations and interface components have also been created that enrich the brand within a digital application and make it recognisable.
