I’ve always wanted to work with people who are eager to make a difference, who know their stuff, and still stay down-to-earth. That’s exactly what I’ve found here: creative minds focused on solutions instead of problems.

Every project brings new challenges, every day new inspiration. In the morning, I design digital solutions for a start-up; in the afternoon, I support a corporation in their strategic realignment. This mix allows me to expand my expertise daily and gain new perspectives.

Work on exciting client projects

You’ll spend most of your time working on exciting projects for renowned clients like VW, Deutsche Bahn, TUI, or KIND, developing impactful digital products and services together with them.

Be an active part of the organisation

Our organizational model is based on circles and built on a strong foundation of personal responsibility, adaptability, and decision-making competence. This fosters independent thinking and empowers all employees to take responsibility and help drive the development of both themselves and DAYONE.

Grow professionally

You have a flexibly usable time allowance at your disposal, which you can use according to your professional interests and skills for your personal development as well as for advancing DAYONE-specific topics.

Here’s what you can look forward to

Grow – professionally & personally

At DAYONE, not only does your skillset grow, but you grow as a person too.

Mentoring, further training, and real development instead of a standard career path.

Product instead of PowerPoint

Here, you create with impact – for real users, not for the archive. We get involved early, think along, and focus on what really matters.

Studio Vibe & Team Spirit

Our studio is the place where work and creativity come together – a space for ideas and exchange. Offsites, events, and a team that sticks together.

Trust instead of control

We rely on personal responsibility instead of micromanagement – and give you the freedom you need. Hybrid work, mobile work within the EU, and a four-day workweek by arrangement.

Substance instead of hype

We focus on long-term partnerships, realistic planning, and a work environment where we achieve convincing results in a healthy way – sustainably and with mutual respect.

What else?

Of course, we also have the classics: MacBook, coffee & snacks, and the Germany public transport ticket – everything you need to stay productive and well taken care of throughout the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does your application process look like?

Step 1 – Your application

Whether classic or creative – we look forward to receiving your documents. Ideally, please include your possible start date and salary expectations. You will hear back from us within one week.

Step 2 – Initial meeting

In an open first conversation, you’ll meet a colleague from People Management and the relevant department. Here too: you will hear from us again within a week at the latest.

Step 3 – Show us what you can do

You will receive a task that gives us an impression of your working style. You’ll present your results in the second interview – in a relaxed setting. Afterwards, you’ll receive our final feedback promptly.

Step 4 – Let’s go!

If everything fits, you’ll receive your employment contract.

Step 5 – Welcome to DAYONE

Before your first day, we’ll give you a digital insight into what to expect in your first weeks with us – so you can start well prepared and full of excitement.

What do you look for in new colleagues?

We’re looking for people who take responsibility, think ahead, and get things moving — even when not everything is set in stone.
Initiative matters to us, as does the desire to actively shape structures.

For us, it’s not just about what you do, but how you do it: we value team players who communicate as equals, provide approachable advice, and focus on shared success.

What development opportunities do you offer?

Your growth has a firm place with us.
In regular development conversations — at least twice a year — you’ll reflect together with your lead on where you are, where you want to go, what will help you move forward, and which next steps make sense.

On top of that, you’ll have a dedicated training budget to invest in your professional or personal development. Whether it’s trainings, coaching, or conferences — we’ll support you in finding exactly the impulses that help you grow.

What kind of projects do you have?

Our projects range from digital solutions for start-ups to the strategic realignment of large corporations.
It’s this mix that makes our work so exciting — no two days are the same, and every task offers new perspectives.

We work in an interdisciplinary, agile way, always closely alongside our clients — whether they’re mid-sized businesses or large enterprises.

For deeper insights into how we work and the variety of our projects, take a look at our Cases page.

Can I work remotely?

Yes, we work hybrid. We spend at least five days per month in the studio – for direct exchange, which we really value. Beyond that, you can work remotely flexibly. Many colleagues also come to the office more often because they don’t want to miss the personal contact and creative collaboration.

How are your working hours arranged?

We work with flexible hours – meaning your start and end times are flexible as long as no client appointments are affected. On average, we work 8 hours per day and track our time using the HQ tool. Overtime is very rare thanks to excellent project planning. If there are exceptional cases when you work late, you can simply make up the extra time independently and promptly.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, dogs are welcome in our studio – as long as they are office-friendly and get along well with other dogs. It’s important that your dog is healthy, has liability insurance, and is accustomed to being around people in the office.

Since there are sometimes several dogs at once, owners coordinate with each other – just to keep things relaxed for everyone.
