What data about you do we process? And for what purposes?
We process the data you sent us in connection with your application to assess your suitability for the position (or, if applicable, other open positions in our company) and to carry out the application process.
What is the legal basis for this?
The primary legal basis for processing your personal data in this application process is Section 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), in its version applicable since 25.05.2018. According to this, processing is permitted if it is necessary in connection with the decision on establishing an employment relationship.
If the data is required for legal proceedings after the conclusion of the application process, processing may take place on the basis of Article 6 GDPR, particularly for the purpose of pursuing legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our interest then lies in asserting or defending legal claims.
How long is the data stored?
Data from applicants will be deleted after 6 months in the event of a rejection.
If you have consented to further storage of your personal data, we will transfer your data to our applicant pool. There, the data will be deleted after two years.
If you are awarded a position during the application process,
the data from the applicant database will be transferred to our personnel information system.
To which recipients are the data being passed on?
We use a specialized software provider for the application process. This
provider acts as a service provider for us and may gain knowledge of your personal
data in connection with the maintenance and support of the systems. We
have concluded a so-called data processing agreement with this provider, which
ensures that data processing occurs in an allowed manner.
Your application data will be reviewed by the Human Resources department
upon receipt of your application. Suitable applications will then be forwarded
internally to the departmental heads for the respective open position. The
subsequent process will then be coordinated. Within the company, only those
persons have access to your data who need it for the proper execution of our
application procedure.
Where will the data be processed?
The data is processed exclusively in data centres of the Federal Republic of Germany
.
